Food & Beverage Manager

Want to orchestrate more than menus? At Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe, board games, craft brews, and community buzz meet unforgettable food. We’re searching for an energetic, people-loving Food & Beverage Manager to make every plate and pour memorable—while keeping the business side sizzling.

What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor BOH & FOH teams, scheduling smart, and coaching often
Curate and cost menus that delight guests and protect margins
Negotiate with vendors and run tight inventory to slash waste
Champion ServSafe, OSHA, and alcohol-service compliance every shift
Track KPIs, own the P&L, and course-correct before issues boil over

What You Bring

5+ years of F&B leadership in high-volume or multi-unit spaces
ServSafe Manager & TIPS certified (or ready to get both)
Proven ability to hit labor, food, and pour-cost targets
A coaching mindset that turns good crews into great ones
Bachelor’s in Hospitality or equivalent, battle-tested experience

Kitchen Staff

Want to cook up more than food? At The Rook Room, we serve up delicious eats in a place where board games, creativity, and community collide. We’re looking for energetic, detail-loving Kitchen Staff to help us keep things fresh, flavorful, and fun.

What You’ll Do

Prep and cook menu items with care and consistency
Plate dishes like a pro (yes, presentation matters!)
Communicate with FOH so the service runs smoothly
Keep your station clean, your cool under pressure, and your team in sync
Help with deliveries, stock rotation, and reducing waste

What You Bring

Kitchen experience is great – but we’ll train the right person
You’re dependable, quick on your feet, and cool under pressure
Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
Love being part of a fast-moving, close-knit team
Familiar with ServSafe or willing to get certified
