Catan National Qualifier Tournament at Gamicon
Saturday, February 24
Think you’re the best Catan player around? Do you build roads and cities like nobody’s business? Is the largest army no problem?
Come and show off your skills at our Catan National Qualifier Tournament hosted by The Rook Room at Gamicon gaming convention in Cedar Rapids in conjunction with Catan Organized Play on Saturday, February 24th.
Pre-registration is required. Please register in advance.
As long as we meet all necessary requirements, this tournament will be an official national qualifier event with the winner of this tournament receiving an official Catan prize pack and a seat to the 2024 national tournament.
You do NOT need to be a Catan expert player to participate. ALL experience levels are welcome to play and have fun.
Preliminary rounds will begin at 9:00 AM with the semi-finals at 3:00 PM and the final at 7:00 PM all on Saturday, February 24th. Preliminaries will take roughly three hours. Semi-final and final rounds should take about an hour each.
Gamicon registration is required for entry.

From Catan Organized Play: All participants must be US Citizens/Permanent Residents and be 18+ years of age. Winners of 2023-2024 season Qualifier Tournaments are not allowed to play in additional Qualifier events leading up to the next World Championship without first relinquishing their qualified seat.
