Jigsaw Puzzle Swap and National Puzzle Day Celebration

National Puzzle Day is this month – are you ready to celebrate with some puzzling fun INCLUDING something new we’ve never done before?!

The Rook Room will be celebrating National Puzzle Day at Confluence Brewing Company on Sunday, January 28th, from Noon to 5 PM with our Jigsaw Puzzle Swap and other puzzling fun!

Here’s how the Jigsaw Puzzle Swap will work:

• Bring your gently used jigsaw puzzles that you’re looking to give to a new home.
• For each puzzle you bring, we’ll give you a ticket that you can use to select a new-to-you puzzle from the selection of what others contribute.
• Tickets are good for the duration of the event – so feel free to check back as often as you want to see what new puzzles have come in.
• Don’t have a puzzle you want to exchange, but still want to participate? Snag as many tickets as you need for $5 each.
• Something special: We encourage you to write a little note and leave it in the box for the new owner to find! Words of encouragement, a memory, a fun detail – it’s up to you!
• Tip: Consider putting the puzzle pieces in a gallon Ziplock bag inside the box so they don’t fall out or get lost!

Since it’s National Puzzle Day (okay, it’s technically Monday but it’s hard to have this much fun on a weekday), we’ll also have some puzzles going in the brewery! So grab a drink, do some puzzling, and check back in on the swap often.

Of course, we’ll also have our inventory of Rook Room puzzles featuring art from local artists for sale if you want to take home something new (while supporting two local businesses, as always).
