Learn to Play Euchre

Ever wanted to learn how to play the trick-taking partner game Euchre? Well, now’s your chance!

We’ll be holding a very relaxed how-to-play overview session prior to our February 1st Euchre Tournament at SingleSpeed Brewing. We’ll begin teaching right at 10 AM and will go over game flow, rules, taking tricks, cards, strategies, and (of course) winning.

This session is for anyone and everyone, whether you’re completely new to the game or just need a refresher.

This learning session is free to attend, though we kindly ask that you register at the link below so we know to expect you.

The learn-to-play portion will last less than an hour so we have time to get ready for our monthly Euchre Tournament starting at 11 AM.

If you feel up to speed, we welcome and encourage you to join our for-fun tournament as long as there is space still available. As with all of our tournaments, we require friendly play and good attitudes to make sure everyone – from newbies to experts – feel welcome!

Can’t make this session? We’ll plan to have additional Learn to Play Euchre sessions in the future!

Parking Information

Parking in the area is limited right now. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving yourself extra time to get there and carpooling if you’re able.

You’ll find a few parking spots at SingleSpeed. If those are full up, you can find additional on-street parking:

• On the south side of the Scott Avenue bridge
• On SE 2nd Street
• Along SE 5th Street and in the RAGBRAI parking lot
