Pandemic Board Game Survival Tournament

Stop the outbreak and save the world! You and your teammate will take on the roles of experts trying to stop disease from spreading out of control. Your choices will determine victory or defeat.
Sound exciting? Join The Rook Room and West Des Moines Parks & Recreation for our upcoming Pandemic Survival Tournament on October 16th starting at 1 PM at the RecPlex in West Des Moines.
Teams of two will play through a preset Pandemic scenario with predetermined roles. Our tournament game master will control the Infection deck and direct players to place cubes and draw cards. With all teams starting with the exact same setup, it’ll be your choices that determine if you win or lose. The first team to complete the win condition OR survive longer than all other teams will be our tournament champion!
All teams will play simultaneously and will take a couple of hours to complete. The Rook Room will provide all of the game boards and components. All you need to bring is a teammate and any refreshments. The RecPlex will also have food and drinks for sale.
The winning team will be crowned our Pandemic Survival champions and receive a Rook Room prize package.
All ages and experience levels are welcome to join in the fun. Space is limited and registering early is recommended. Walk-up registrations will be accepted while space remains, but is not guaranteed. Cost is $10 per player.
