Word in the Word?! Word Games Night

Calling all bananagrammers and codenamers we are celebrating all things WORDS WORDS WORDS! We couldn’t let National Scrabble Day and National Poetry Month pass without a proper party to connect our word nerds across the metro.
Together with Reading in Public, Rook Room Board Game Cafe is hosting What in the Word?! A night to play some mind boggle-ing games with your friends and family. You may know the classics, but we’ll be showcasing a table chock full of fresh AND familiar word games for the most dedicated lover or new found fan.
Reading in Public will be providing a DIY Scrabble Tile Magnet making and Blackout Poetry station in the cafe during this event, so you can extend your love of language to the literary arts and crafts. They’ll also have a pop-up mini bookstore to purchase (or pre-order) some new releases and classics.
Some secret special menu items will be available for ticket holders including the Strawberry Lemon Jammer Poptail, Lavender London Fog (a reader’s classic), the Codebreaker Cocktail, and more!
Participate in the Community Crossword to complete the perfect evening for every lexical local. This event is for all ages.
