At The Rook Room, we love giving back to our community. We love it so much, it’s actually one of our core values. Whether that’s helping organizations with fundraisers or making donations to existing events and nonprofits, we try to help in any way we can. In fact, we’ve donated tens of thousands of dollars in goods and services to area organizations since we began in 2019.
That said, we get a large number of requests for donations so we sometimes have to make some hard choices. As much as we would love to say yes to everyone, we have to stay within our budget (or our accountant might kill us).
That’s why, if you would like to request a donation for your organization, we’d suggest submitting a request using the form at the bottom of this page as soon as possible. Once we hit our limit for the quarter, we’re unable to provide any additional requests except in very certain circumstances.
We will evaluate donation requests in the order that they are received. Once we receive a request, we will reach out as soon as we are able to talk more about your organization, donation needs, and timeline.
Any organization can apply for a donation from The Rook Room. Nonprofit organizations and organizations aligning closest to our mission and core values – especially our core values of celebrating individuality, increasing accessibility, and giving back to our community – get preference.
We can’t guarantee that we will be able to provide a donation to every organization, but we will certainly try our best depending on our capacity at the time.
