A Very Merry Puzzlepalooza at Peace Tree Brewing

Grab your favorite festive friends, pile into the sleigh, and keep the Snow Miser at bay at Des Moines’ hottest jigsaw competition with a little extra ho ho holiday cheer.
The Rook Room’s extremely popular jigsaw puzzle competition, Puzzlepalooza, is back and merrier than ever with A Very Merry Puzzlepalooza on Wednesday, December 18th at Peace Tree Brewing – Des Moines Branch.
Check-in begins at 6:00 PM and the competition begins promptly at 6:30 PM.
For those who haven’t been to a Puzzlepalooza before, teams of up to four face off in a race to be the first to complete their 500-piece puzzle. Sound easy? Don’t be deceived because the competition is stiff and we throw in more twists than a candy cane with the opportunity to sabotage the other teams.
However, this isn’t your average Puzzlepalooza. This is our second annual A Very Merry Puzzlepalooza! Not only will we have a holly jolly holiday-themed puzzle for you to piece together, but this special edition of our jigsaw puzzle competition will also feature presents, an ugly sweater contest, and a special holiday-themed sabotage.
We’ll have prizes for the best overall ugly sweaters.
Add in some amazing, local, Peace Tree craft beer plus special holiday drinks and this is an experience you don’t want to miss! Once you finish your puzzle, feel free to hang out and enjoy the cozy, very merry vibes.
Reservations are required and space is limited. Cost for this special edition of Puzzlepalooza is $50 per team of up to 4 players and includes the puzzle, which is yours to keep, and team costume contest entry. Only one registration is required per team.

Waitlist Policy: We encourage you to keep these event dates open if possible. If something does come up or plans change, we certainly understand. Life is busy. We just request that you remove yourself from the waitlist by following the instructions included in your waitlist confirmation email OR by logging into Eventbrite and navigating to the event page OR by emailing us at info@therookroom.com and letting us know. Due to the popularity of our Puzzlepalooza events, we want to do our best to make sure that everyone who wants to attend has that chance. Failing to respond to multiple waitlist invites over several events may negatively affect your chances of receiving future invitations. Again, this policy is in place to help make sure we are able to help everyone who wants to attend has that opportunity and we appreciate your assistance in making that happen.
Refund Policy: Refunds will be accepted up to 7 days prior to the event based on the event start time. Refund requests made inside the 7-day window will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may be contingent on waitlist team acceptance. For refund requests within that window, we encourage you to reach out to info@therookroom.com to begin a conversation. We will do everything we can to try to reach the best outcome for all parties.
