Get ready to dive into adventure! Join The Rook Room and Des Moines & Dragons for a two-part Dungeons & Dragons event series where you’ll learn to play and run your own campaign on November 9th and 16th at Confluence Brewing Company. Attend one session or both!
Each session will begin at 6:30 PM and last about two hours including a presentation by Des Moines & Dragons and plenty of time for Q&A. Here’s what you can expect for each session:
Session One, November 9th: Introduction to D&D for players. We will go over character creation, basic skills, combat, role-playing, and more. Learn everything you need to begin playing. Each participant will get an Adventurer Pack including dice, reference guides, and character sheets.
Session Two, November 16th: How to be a dungeon master. We will learn the basics of running a D&D campaign as a dungeon master including creating a campaign, DM tools and resources, leading players, role-playing, common issues, and more. Each participant will get an Explorer Pack with reference guides, a one-shot adventure, and a surprise DM tool.
Attend one of the sessions or come to both – you choose your own D&D adventure. Registration is $10 per session or $15 if you sign up for both.
Reach out to info@therookroom.com with any questions. We hope to see you there, adventurers!
