Slay Bells & Blood (on the Clocktower) Immersive Experience

’Tis the season to be suspicious. When the clocktower tolls at our December Blood on the Clocktower, there’s a very good chance the person next to you won’t make it to Christmas morning.

Join us Wednesday, December 23, from 5 PM to 9 PM for a night of treachery, deduction, and delightfully dramatic accusations. The Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe becomes a winter village with a deadly secret, and the wildly popular social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower gets a creepy holiday twist.

This month, our storytellers are running special, holiday-themed scripts. Demons lurk under the mistletoe, minions check their lists twice, and villagers try very, very hard not to end up on the naughty list, which, in this village, is the execution list.

No experience is required. Just bring a willingness to play your role, spin a few tales, and maybe stab your neighbors in the back…metaphorically, of course. (Leave the real candy canes sharpened at home, villagers.)

You’ll buy a ticket for the specific game you want to play:

• Beginner – New to Blood on the Clocktower, or still learning the ropes? Start here. Your storyteller will walk you through every twist and turn.
• Intermediate – You’ve played a few times and know your way around the town square.
• Advanced – You’re a seasoned villager (or demon) who’s ready for more complex roles and deeper deception.

Each ticket is $15 and unlocks your seat at that game’s table.

The night opens at 5 PM with a festive village gathering. Grab something to eat and drink, mix and mingle, and get to know your fellow villagers before all is calm turns to all is fright. Gameplay begins at 6 PM. The gathering is part of the experience, so we encourage everyone to come early.

Our event-exclusive drinks, the Stroke of Midnight cocktail and its equally devious non-alcoholic counterpart, the Backstabber, are only available during the event. After all, what’s a silent night without something tasty in your glass?

Each game runs about 60 to 120 minutes, so you’ll have time to play, plot, and maybe grab another drink or bite to eat. Our full food, beverage, and cafe menus will be available all night.

New to Blood on the Clocktower? No problem! We recommend checking out the basics beforehand, and our storytellers will guide you through every dramatic gasp. We just ask that you come ready to commit to your role and keep the holiday spirit (and the game’s spirit) alive for yourself and your fellow doomed townsfolk.

This is an 18+ event and contains depictions of murder that may be upsetting to some audiences. Space is limited, and if you’ve been to past events, you know seats vanish faster than cookies left out on Christmas Eve.

So grab your ticket, sharpen your wits, and start whispering in corners like a minion with a secret Santa assignment. He sees you when you’re sleeping…and so does the Demon. Nobody can be trusted, not even under the tree.
