City Sounds Season Opener

Join The Rook Room as we partner with City Sounds on its season opener at Mainframe Studios from 5 PM to 8 PM on Friday, May 5th.
City Sounds, which works to transform the community through music, animating spaces, and making artistic creation accessible to all, is the organization behind the painted public pianos you’ve likely seen around the metro every summer.
The season opener event is your one and only chance to see all 10 pianos and meet all 10 artists under the same roof. To help you to learn more about the pianos and artists, The Rook Room will be running a fun-for-the-whole-family scavenger hunt. Complete all the tasks and snag extra entries for the 2023 People’s Choice competition.
This event is free for all to attend. It is part of Mainframe Studios’ First Fridays meaning there will be five levels of fun to explore and The Tangerine Food Company will be providing delicious eats.
