Game Store Day at the Rook Room

Game Store Day is a nationwide celebration of local game stores, and on Saturday, November 7, the Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe is celebrating all day long.

A table raffle every hour. Every hour on the hour, from 9 AM to 9 PM, we’ll roll a 20-sided die to pick one of our 20 tables. If you’re sitting at that table, you win a prize – games, puzzles, gift cards, and more. You have to be here to win, so pull up a chair and stay awhile.

Meeple Mocktails. Five event-exclusive mocktails, one for each meeple color: Black, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green. They’re only around for the day, so try them while you can.

Demo afternoon, 2 PM to 7 PM. Our retail games come off the shelves and onto the tables, with our team ready to teach you how to play. You can also get an early look at Wildblooms, a brand-new drafting game from Thames & Kosmos where you grow the biggest, brightest wildflower meadow.

Play it, then take it home for less. Play any game from our retail shelves during your visit, and get 5% off that same game when you buy it that day. (Can’t be combined with other discounts. Doesn’t apply to Decksplorer.)

Euchre Tournament, 11 AM to 2 PM. Our monthly tournament is on as usual: $5 to play, and registration is required.

As always, our full game library and our food, cafe, and drink menus are open all day, with no tickets needed. Come celebrate with us – see you Saturday!
