Calling all science super sleuths! Grab your notebook and magnifying glass, because we need your help solving a murder mystery at the Science Center of Iowa.
Join The Rook Room and the Science Center of Iowa for a night of murder, mystery, and whodunnit on Friday, October 28th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
SCI is re-launching its popular Mixology night 21+ events that give you the opportunity to explore the museum kid-free.
For Mixology: Murder Mystery, The Rook Room is helping SCI turn each guest into a detective tasked with working together to solve a murder most foul.
When you arrive, check in, grab a drink, and pick up your detective packet to start your murder mystery adventure. As you explore the museum, discover exhibits, attend programs, and check out demonstrations, be sure to keep an eye on the details. You never where a clue to the mystery might be hiding or who might have a critical piece of information.
SCI and Rook Room staff will be more than willing to tell you what they know. Follow the clues, discover new ones throughout the night, and develop your best sleuth guess. Turn in your best guess for the suspect, the weapon, and where the crime happened at the end of the night to see if you got it right!
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options will be available during the event. There will be food available for purchase provided by two onsite food trucks, Karams Mediterranean and Off the Griddle, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.
Tickets are $20 or $18 for SCI members. You must be 21 years old or older to attend Mixology events. A valid driver’s license is required for admission and must be presented at the SCI Box Office. Refunds will not be given.
