Open Slay Dungeons & Dragons Youth One-Shot Campaign

Prepare for adventure! Open Slay Dungeons & Dragons is an event for teens and tweens who are ready to play one-off campaigns and meet D&D friends!

We’ve partnered with the Des Moines Public Library Franklin Avenue Branch to play some D&D on Sunday, August 20th from 2 PM to 4 PM.

This will be a short, one-shot adventure crafted by the Rook Room D&D wizards designed for adventurers ages 8-18 with at least some D&D knowledge. Previous play experience or expert knowledge isn’t necessary, but since this is a campaign event, we won’t have time to spend on basics.

Players will be able to choose from a selection of pre-built characters created specifically for use in the campaign. To make things as easy as possible for our volunteer dungeon masters, please do not plan on bringing your own character.

All gaming supplies will be provided by The Rook Room, but feel free to bring any supplies from your own personal collection.

Adventuring parties will be guided by Rook Room and community volunteer Dungeon Masters.
