Open Slay Dungeons & Dragons Youth One-Shot Campaign

Prepare for adventure! Open Slay Dungeons & Dragons is an event for teens and tweens who are ready to play one-off campaigns and meet D&D friends!

We’ve partnered with the Des Moines Public Library Franklin Avenue Branch to play some D&D on Monday, August 22nd.

This will be a short, one-shot adventure crafted by the Rook Room D&D wizards designed for adventurers ages 8-18 with at least some D&D knowledge. Previous play experience or expert knowledge isn’t necessary, but since this is a campaign event, we won’t have much time to spend on basics.

Players are welcome to bring their own pre-built characters, but please leave characters at Level 1 since this is an introductory adventure. We will also have some pre-built characters on hand to choose from.

All gaming supplies will be provided by The Rook Room, but feel free to bring any supplies from your own personal collection.

Adventuring parties will be guided by Rook Room and community volunteer Dungeon Masters.
